Families who enrol a child at Heatherton Christian College become part of a Christian community of parents dedicated to Christian education. A warm family atmosphere permeates the College as parents, teachers and students work together in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect.

Presentation Night, sporting carnivals, musical and dramatic performances, club programs and other special occasions provide opportunities for the gifts and abilities of students to be demonstrated and celebrated. Self-esteem is fostered by recognising students’ achievements through weekly awards presented at assembly.

Annual awards are presented for excellence in Academic, Sport, Music, Science, Art and Most Improved. The Timothy Award is presented annually to the outstanding Primary and Secondary student of the year. An academic scholarship is awarded to the highest achieving student in Year 6-11 each year.
